It was a sad day in the school world of this household. At exactly sometime this afternoon, the brand new, beloved & beautiful HP laptops, combo printer/scanners, & headsets with speakers that were so much fun to talk with were shipped back to cyber school. Much disappointment arose when the FedEx van arrived for pick up & we were confronted with the time of our last goodbyes.
Back to the old school Abeka DVD's.
[hahaha get it? old school?!...ok. sorry. couldn't resist]
All the above listed magnificent technology will be sorely missed...

Hey all.
Until several people asked me when in the world I was gonna post again, I had no clue that anyone kept up with us through this blog! I havent even uploaded photos to the computer for over a month :o let alone put any on here.
I'm considering using Flickr instead of PhotoBucket for all the pictures. Seems like it is easier to organize with that website. Anybody use one or the other or both & have an opinion on which you like better & why? Thanks!
Oh ya, & for those of you who didnt know, you can post a comment & leave us a note whether you have a blogspot or not =)
Coming soon [as soon as I get about an 2 hours to upload/organize/blog em all] are pictures from a wedding shower, a wedding, my 15th birthday [this Saturday :], my first costume party with the best girls in the world & a Steelers bash last week with some old & new friends alike. As a bonus there should be some misc funny family/friend moments I happen to have captured too :D
Bringing you enjoyment through family photos as soon as possible...

We took a trip to a farm north of us to pick up some pumpkins, hay & cornstalks. All of which now adorn out front porch. We each picked out our own pumpkins, drank so hot chocolate, saw some animals, and saw pumpkins displayed into almost every character imaginable.

What a blessing it was to go to a Christian wedding!! It was really neat because since the wedding was in the afternoon, we got to attend, then come home & head out to YPCG.
Mrs Serita came with us to the wedding which was at a BIG church & the reception was at a lovely park. What a gorgeous fall day! Driving through the park, we were all looking at the beauty of the day. Both God's creation & how beautiful the wedding of our two friends was. The reception building was the North Park skating rink which had a magnificent view through a wall of windows of the fall leaves & warm sun shining down on everything. The lunch menu was fabulous. Such delic food!!
Seeing Mrs Serita is always a joy. Getting to spend time talking with her, enjoying her presence and listening to her wisdom on so many things filled me with thankfulness for her friendship.

We had the grandparents over for some cake & ice cream to celebrate S's birthday. He played for hours with the new army guy sets Mum & Dad got him. Nunny Lou & Pappy bought him a totally awesome Steelers coat which he wears everyday now & Nunny Nancy gave him a neato Tonka puzzle book that both S & D liked very much. What a lucky little guy!

The first game of the season is tonight...8:30pm. We are all SO pumped. Can't wait to watch the pregame show not to mention the actual game! We're anxious to see how our SuperBowl Champs are gonna do tonight without all the players who made last year what it was. We'll be watching the game, & thinking of all our fellow Steelers fans doing the same :)
Love Ya'll & enjoy the game!

A week of sun, surf, sand, & awesome memories!! We hadn't been to the beach in two years, & it was just so nice to spend a week down there with Nunny, Pappy, Rachel & Uncle Tom. We took SOOOO many awesome pictures...these were just two of my favorites :)
If you wanna see more...
Ocean City August 11th-20th 2006

Mom, Dad, A, K & Nunny Nancy went downtown to see the performance of this classic movie. It was Lane's first time at a professional musical & she couldnt help wishing that she was onstage & not in the audience!! The show was wonderful and it was so nice to go out for a night. We didnt think to take a picture of all of us, and cameras arent allowed in the theater, so this photo is from the front of the program :)
These pictures are from 2 weeks ago...more to come soon of this past weekend. Family picnic pictures coming too.
We spent most of the time in the park. We took a boat ride around the lake since we dont have our own boat yet ;) We watched a wedding in the park and walked through a car cruise while listening to oldies music. The wedding was very, very sweet and a beautiful day for it. The car cruise...way too cool!! There are some pictures of the rented cottage we've been staying at too. Enjoy!!

Isabella spent the morning & afternoon with our crew. It was cloudy out, but really humid so everybody went swimming. The boys loved having a little girl to pamper! I wonder why they dont get so excited about pampering older girls too? haha. Lane went camera crazy trying to capture all the funny things they were doing. The day ended with a nap...after chasing those little guys around all day, it was well deserved!
A friend had tickets for FanFest on Friday the 7th, but had to work, so he asked us if we wanted to use them!! Dad, A, K and S all headed out for a day full day of fun. We had a blast at the batting cages, saw tball teams play on an indoor field they had set up (S loved that!), played games & browsed tons of memorablia. We also saw some of the women who were the inspiration for the movie "A League of Their Own." We got their autographs & Lane loved listening to them talk about "how it was in good ol days!" There was so much to do. We barely saw everything there was to do. In the end, we had bags full of tshirts & free stuff and a day full of wonderful memories.
A four day weekend at the lake felt like a week-long vacation!! We stayed in a rented cottage, but spent most of our time over on the other side of the lake scoping out different neighborhoods & houses to get familiar with the area. We had friends over for dinner one night & had a great time with them as always. We found the Fireman's Beach and spent two whole days being lazy there. Watching the boys dig and play in the water is so much fun! We went to the amusement park a couple times too. Once to walk to boardwalk & play games; once to see fireworks. The show was amazing. The best we've seen in a LONG time!! We came home Tuesday afternoon since it was rainy & went up the street to Nunny Lou's house to eat grilled chicken & all the other yummys you're supposed to eat on the 4th. We ended the wonderful holiday by watching all the different neighborhood's put on fireworks. We had front row seats & the perfect view of every one...our front porch!
We put a bid in on a lake house and are anxiously awaiting a counter! We've spent time at the lake with friends & have loved it. We are all so excited!!! The house does need quite a bit of work, but the area is one of the nicest around the lake, so it is a very good investment on our part. The actual lake is three houses down the street & there is a canal behind the house for a pontoon to dock. The house is a four bedroom, two bath. Tons of room for family & friends to come over and party! Take a look...

We had plans to go to the lake, but that fell through. We packed everybody up & headed to the beach. We spent Sunday and most of Monday playing in the sand & romping around the amusement park riding rides, trying on goofy hats, playing games and watching fireworks Sunday night.
Just getting started on this & finding my way around how everything works. So far, pretty easy. Alot of stuff yet to understand about using the blogger system and everything though. I'm glad its at least a little bit similar to everything I've done before on other sites. Should be fun! :)
